AMSEP Undip – Philippines May 2013

Hey guys! We’re back with more great news. AMSA Undip was chosen as the host for AMSEP (Asian Medical Students Exchange Program) with delegates from Philippines as our guest! We’re very excited and honored for having been chosen. We will make sure that the delegates from Philippines will enjoy this program the most! 🙂

AMSEP Undip – Philippines will be held from Sunday, May 12th to Sunday, May 18th 2013. Yes, right after we hold Joglosemar Retrophoria! Wish us good luck, guys~

AMSEP Undip – Philippines is quite a long program. For seven days, we will take the delegates from Philippines to learn and discuss about neurosurgery, teach English to childrens, tours around and learn about Semarang’s cultural repertoire, and of course playing fun games with us. We will go to make lumpia (Semarang’s iconic dish of meat and bamboo sprout rolled in a thin crispy sheath), learning gamelan (Javanese traditional music orchestra) and a traditional dance (which would it be? It’s a secret :D), learning a little about Indonesian language and its magnificent dialect diversity from every cities, watching Police Academy/Akademi Kepolisian’s marching band show, and many more! We will also arrange for the meals to be the most representative of Indonesian dish. Doesn’t it sounds fun? 😀

The promotional theme of AMSEP Undip – Philippines follows our first short movie, that is about secret agents—hence the design of our logo. The color of our logo is inspired by the glorious Indonesian and Philippines flag.

Wait a second, did I write ‘first’? Yes, because there will be a second movie! In this movie, the secret agents from Philippines voyages across the sea to save Undip’s agents who were abducted by the evil sergeant, and ultimately save the world. What would it be like? How would the clash between good and evil end?

We’ll see later 😉
